What Constitutes a Good Referral To
Our Firm? |
1. The following describes the type of products or services
I offer:
I am a personal injury attorney and represent the interests of
people injured through the negligence of others. I work on a
“contingency fee”; I ONLY get paid if I recover money damages for my
client.
2. Examples of Qualifies Referrals for me would be:
Any person injured in an automobile accident (regardless of whether
or not they think they may have been “at fault”). Also, people
injured from a “slip, trip or fall” or “dog bite”. Medical
malpractice claims are reviewed by experts for possible negligence
by the doctor or medical provider.
3. Examples of Referrals that are NOT what I need are:
I DO NOT handle “property damage” claims. For example; a person is
in an accident and ONLY their vehicle is damaged. Also, insurance
coverage must be available. Unfortunately, many people are driving
that do not carry liability insurance; NO “deep pocket”!
4. The Perfect Referral for me is:
A young brain surgeon who is “rear-ended” by a Federal Express truck
that just ran a red light. The surgeon is now unable to perform
surgery because of the injuries to his hands. (Large Damages &
Certain Liability – the best combination!)
Notable Mention
I just settled a medical malpractice claim pre-suit (did not even
file suit). The ER doctor failed to diagnose a heart attack and sent
the patient home. The patient died of a second massive heart attack
only 8 hours later. The doctor & hospital removed an EKG report from
the medical records. We obtained a significant settlement for the
man’s wife and 5 kids.
