Summary of Current Professional Experience:

My name is Heather Keir and I am an AVP/Business Development Officer for Community Bank of Broward. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. I have been a part of the Community Bank of Broward team since 2004. My banking experience began in the commercial loan department as a commercial loan underwriter in our corporate office in Weston. I currently work with our Plantation Branch located at 510 N. Pine Island Road.

Community Bank of Broward was established in 2002 and has eight branch locations in Broward County. The bank has $450MM in assets and is the largest community bank headquartered in Broward County. CBB provides a wide variety of traditional banking products, for both business and personal needs. We are set apart from the “big banks” of the world because of our level of customer service and relationship-driven approach towards banking.

It is important to know that despite the current market situation, Community Bank remains profitable and maintains strong asset quality. The bank was never involved in the residential real estate market and has maintained conservative underwriting practices since it’s inception. We are still providing loans to our customers and remain adequately capitalized.
